Puno Experiential 04 Days - 03 Nights

DAY 01: PUNO INN WITH SILLUSTANI ON THE ROUTE

Reception at Juliaca Airport and transfer to the hotel in Puno with a visit to Sillustani (approx. 45 min). First, you will visit Waru-waru, a pre-Inca agricultural area, then, you will pass by the houses of the inhabitants of the area to learn about their culture and lifestyle. You will arrive at the Chullpas of Sillustani, which is made up of gigantic cylinders, better known as “chullpas” which are necropolises where the great dignitaries of the Tiahuanaco culture are found, who populated the highlands more than 3 thousand years ago. And, finally, you will appreciate the beauty of the Umayo Lagoon. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Puno

DAY 02: PUNO – UROS ISLAND - AMANTANÍ

Breakfast. 07:30 hrs In the morning, transfer to the port of Puno where you will begin the lake crossing to the floating island of the Uros, which are a group of floating islands formed from totora reeds. There, the "Uros" inhabitants are the descendants of the oldest cultures in America. You will appreciate their peculiar lifestyle and their creations such as the production of wool fabrics and stuffed animals. Then, you will visit the Amantaní Island, here you will be able to appreciate the homes of the inhabitants and you will also be assigned a family with whom you will share customs and food during your stay. In the afternoon, you will visit the altars of the Island (Pachatata). Accommodation in Amantaní.

DAY 03: PUNO - AMANTANÍ - TAQUILE

Breakfast. Today, you will leave Amantani towards Taquile Island where you will visit Taquile Island, get to know the town, and have some time to explore and shop in the community. Return to Puno in the afternoon. Accommodation in Puno.

DAY 04: PUNO OUT

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer to Juliaca Airport.
